Supportive Housing Properties

For the past three years, the Hotel Investments Team has joined forces with a range of developers, resulting in the successful close of escrow for several hotels within the framework of Project Homekey.

Project Homekey is a State initiative funded by the State of California for the acquisition and conversion of hotels into permanent supportive housing to serve the chronically homeless, people experiencing homelessness, and those at risk of homelessness. The program features individualized supportive services focusing on long-term stability and housing retention that are provided at no cost to the tenant under Housing First and Harm Reduction principles. The initiative prioritizes community and tenant safety while bringing together valuable resources that increase the entire community’s quality of life.

About

We have formed alliances with several housing agencies across the US that employ various methods, such as tenant-based vouchers, Section 8 vouchers, and other innovative approaches, to collaborate with developers.

Once the developer receives approval from the housing agency, our team takes charge of sourcing suitable hotels and managing the transaction for the partnership.
